Rotherham-based Intex Systems has been appointed by Kier Construction to work on part of the new education campus in Northstowe, Cambridgeshire.

The specialist installer will add fire regulation-compliant cladding to two buildings as part of a £0.5m contract to work on the new development.

Intex Systems’ Commercial director Callum Connor said: “We’re looking forward to working with Keir Construction on this flagship development for the new town of Northstowe.

“Our team of expert cladding installers will help add some of the finishing touches to the contemporary buildings being built to provide education facilities for the area.

“This is another great contract win for Intex which will take the team all over the country working on a variety of internal and external construction projects. We’re currently also working in Manchester, Exeter and Liverpool on major contracts which are helping the business continue to grow.”

When complete the campus will be the largest education campus in the country, featuring facilities for children from age 3 to 18.
