Two new team members have joined Intex Systems following a fantastic year of growth during 2015.

Matthew Porter joins us as Operations Director from Lend Lease where he spent 15 years as a quantity survey and latterly as a project manager. Matthew was part of the team which delivered the high profile £500m Media City project.  He also has an MBA from Lancaster University.

Matthew said: “I’m excited to be joining the team at Intex Systems as the business continues to grow. I’m looking forward to getting involved with both the practical side of the business, looking after clients and the team of site managers, but also putting my MBA to good use.

“I’ve known the Intex team for more than a decade and can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Also joining the team is Abbie Penistone. Abbie will support the finance director as well as being office manager. Using her skills gained at Santander and Adecco, Abbie is ideally placed to ensure the smooth running of the everyday part of the business.

Abbie says: “It’s good to have a new challenge which will use not only my financial skills gained from working in the financial industry, but also my organisational skills to ensure that Intex continues to deliver on its promises to clients.”

Intex Systems has won a clutch of new contracts over the last quarter and is set to grow even further during 2017, delivering its core business of installing structural framing systems, aluminium windows and dry lining.
