Intex Systems is celebrating another contract win this week after being appointed to work on the redevelopment of Crusader Mill in Manchester city centre.

The £1.8m contract will see the firm install interior partitions in the sensitive restoration of the mill into residential apartments. It takes the number of major new contract wins in 2019 for the firm to five, adding a total of £12m to turnover.

Commercial director Callum Connor said: “Business really is booming for us here at Intex as a result of our reputation for delivering on promises and doing quality work.

“We now have six active projects just in Manchester at the moment, with others taking our specialist teams around the country.

“It’s really great to see our commitment to safety and quality recognised by new and existing clients as we win more work to help regenerate some of the country’s best towns and cities.”

The contract win adds to the projects Intex Systems has underway in Manchester, which also include construction works on Media City Tower II, Downtown Manchester, a student accommodation block on New Wakefield Street and the new Hampton by Hilton in the city, along with maintenance work on cladding for The Lowry.
