Intex Systems has been awarded an £850,000 contract to supply and install the SFS, Internal Partitions & Ceilings and Aluminium windows at Primus Place, a development of high-quality student accommodation in Leicester.
Working for main contractor Create Construction we expect to start work next month (December) bringing a team of up to 20 to install the SFS, Drylining and 172 windows in this seven-storey apartment block on the edge of the city.
Bernard Atkinson, Intex Systems director, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Create Construction on this development.
“This is the latest in a series of SFS and Drylining projects we’ve done on high-quality student developments and the team is looking forward to getting started.
“We are also pleased to be awarded the Aluminium windows, Curtain walling and Steel doors on this project which will further enhance the external arm of the business.
“Bespoke student accommodation is a real growth area and one we’re very successful in due to our keen prices, strong work ethic and attention to detail.”
The job is expected to start in December 2014 and last for 30 weeks.
