Rotherham-based Intex Systems will start work on a development of student accommodation in Sheffield this month.
Installing dry-walling for client and main contractor Robertson Construction, the Intex team expect to be on site for 39 weeks as the Dart Square development progresses.
The £1m project is the latest to get underway for the Rotherham firm, which had to pause during lockdown in common with many construction companies.
Director Callum Connor said: “We’re chuffed to be working with Robertson Construction on this prestigious local project.
“Everyone is really pleased to be back on site and getting things moving. We had a few projects coming to an end in the spring and many more lined up to start in summer and, being an established name, we’ve weathered the storm fairly well.
“It’s great to be working close to home on another development of high-quality student accommodation, which is just one project out of a big list that we’re getting underway right now.”
Intex are also starting work on projects in Liverpool, Rotherham, York, and Wakefield this month.
