Rotherham based construction specialist Intex Systems are celebrating winning a second contract worth £4m in a matter of months.
The new contract, working for regular client and main contractor Vermont, will see the Intex team head to Liverpool to erect the structural framing system (SFS) for flagship development Aura in the city centre.
The contract also includes installation of interior partitions and ceilings on the development of residential apartments and student accommodation.
Commercial director Callum Connor said: “It’s fair to say we’re on a roll this year with the contracts coming thick and fast.
“Our expertise in installing structural framing systems as well as interior work such as ceilings and partitions is in great demand and we’re delighted to be working with regular and new clients on a variety of jobs already, with more lined up for later in the year.”
Vermont took over building the Aura development for end client Elliot Group at the end of last year and swiftly appointed Intex to the job to ensure progress was made.
The development will see a range of one- and two-bedroom apartments plus bedrooms for more than 1,000 students built in the centre of Liverpool.
Liverpool is a familiar city for Intex Systems, as the firm has also recently done work on a number of buildings on Sefton Street, at Liverpool One and on Fontenoy Street.
